Blog Hop Triple Treat

Hey Stampers!

Welcome to the 3rd and final day of the Glitter Queens blog hop.
First and foremost I want to say thank you to each and everyone of you who have visited with us this week and left comments. This hop could not have happen without your participation. To help make our blog hops better, please post a comment below of tips and suggestions. Your feedback is very much appreciated.

Continuing with the retiring theme, today's card creations are showcasing the Triple Treat Flower stamp and the 5 Petal Flower punch, which are both retiring on May 31st. Doesn't this card just make you want to smile. The bold bright colors of tempting turquoise, melon mambo, and so saffron instantly make me think of summer. The base of the flower was made using the Flower Fancy punch, while the focal point petals were stamped, embossed, and cut out using the 5-Petal Flower punch.  The leaves on this card came from the Bird Builder punch and the sentiment is from the Teeny Tiny Wishes Stamp set.

My second card creation is a a card I made last year using the Always Elegant stamp set that too is retiring. I absolutely love and adore this creation. Such a a beauty and perfect for weddings and anniversary occasions.  Be sure to order your Always Elegant stamp set while supplies last.

I really hope you all have enjoyed the Glitter Queens, blog hop.

Hope you come back and visit with all of us again. To start at the beginning click here to visit Dawn.

Precious Butterflies

Greetings Stampers, and welcome to Day 2 of the Glitter Queen's April
Blog Hop.  If you are following the tour line-up you should have just visited
with Cely Havens.  Aren't Cely's creations beautiful?

As you may have learned, hundreds of stamps and accessories from the 2011-2012 catalog are retiring, and NOW is your best chance to get these goodies before they are gone.

Today's card projects feature the retiring Precious Butterflies and the Vintage Vogue stamp sets. Two very elegant stamp sets from the 2011-2012 catalog. Precious Butterflies is a hostess stamp set that is only available when you place an order for $150.00 or more.  However, today you can receive the Precious Butterfly set and the Vintage Vogue set for FREE when you take advantage of my special offer.

SPECIAL OFFER
If you would like to receive the Precious Butterflies and the Vintage Vogue stamp set for free and you live in the Metro Detroit Area, then be the first to book and hold a private stamping class for you and a few of your friends with me in the Month of May.  Click here to send me an e-mail to schedule your date. Hurry this offer ends today at 11:59 P.M. EST.  The winner will be announced in tomorrow's blog post.

My second project today is another elegant card featuring the Vintage Vogue stamp set. This card uses crumb cake for the card base, bravo burgundy and rose red cardstock for the mat, while the flowers are stamped in rose red and rich razzleberry ink. The vine was stamped in old olive. I used my Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set for the sentiment.

Hope you've enjoyed today's projects and special offer.
Join me again tomorrow for another card creation.

Unfortunately no one took advantage of yesterday's special offer so I have no Winners to name for yesterday's $50.00 FREE shopping.

I {Heart} Hearts

Hey there stampers and welcome to another Glitter Queens Blog Hop. From now until Friday, April 27th, members from Dawn Griffith's Glitter Queens team will be showcasing to you our beautiful stamp projects.  If you have been following the blog tour lineup, then you have just come from Cely Havens inspiring blog. Weren't her projects cute?

This week all of my blog posts for this hop will be focusing on the Stampin' Up! Retired Lists. Each  day I will feature two stamp sets that are retiring and provide you with a sample card for each set.

My first project is a quick and easy card using the I {Heart} Hearts stamp set and the Heart to Heart Punch.  This card uses chocolate chip and crumb cake card stock for the base. Along with strips of real red, more mustard, old olive and bashful blue card stock for the stamped and punched hearts. The sentiment comes from the Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set. This card can be used for any occasion, including valentines day, wedding, anniversary, or even as a simple love note.  The design is very gender neutral, which allows it to be given to either a male or a female recipient.

For my second project, I have another quick and easy card featuring the Ain't Love Grand hostess stamp set and the Big Top Birthday Designer's Series Paper, which are both retiring at the end of May. The sentiment on this card is so fitting, since I will be missing many of the stamps and accessories that are featured on the Retired Lists.
